- Faculty is educated and helpful. They are easily accessible by students and are always there to solve your doubts
- Smart board and white boards are available in every classroom
- Library in well equipped and you can borrow books from the library anytime.
Dislikes
- Classes often get very congested due to large number of students and air conditioners are not there in every classroom
- Campus size in very small with hardly any space for outdoor activities. Things often get worse at monsoons because of water logging.
- Some of the equipments of chemistry, physics, basic electrical laboratories are either broken or not available. Some computers are very slow .
Course Curriculum Overview
It is the well curated program which revolts around the world of artificial intelligence. Coding is been taught and also grooming classes are held for students being completely ready for placements and interviews.
Placement Experience
Almost all the students get placed from this college. Though the placement package is often average. All types of companies like TCS, WIPRO, Amazon come to visit the college. Placement exams and interviews are held and then students are selected accordingly.
Fees and Financial Aid
Netaji Subhash Engineering college is a semi government college which works under Maulana Abul Kalam institute (Makaut). I am currently persuing my btech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from this college. I have completed my first year and will be moving in my 2nd year. I my 1 year experience I came accross really helpful faculty and management. Everyone in very kind and understanding. This college tries to provide the best for all the students. All types for scholarships are available in this college for application. This college strictly follows the makaut curriculum and takes admission through wbjee or jee mains rank for a btech degree. Though management quota is also available. The only problem in this college in small campus size and infrastructure.
Campus Life
Different clubs like ecocultural, phoenix, coding, sports club are there in the college. A student can also work in his/her extracurricular activities continuing studies side by side. The only problem in this college is its small campus size
Admission
I got admission in this college through my wbjee results. I intentionally chose the stream of artificial intelligence looking at the bigger scope it provides in the future. I am very happy with my college and its faculty.
Faculty
The exams are held my Makaut. All the exams and copy checking work according to the dates and time given by makaut institute. Faculty is helpful and kind. They are available for you during the practical exams.
Night Life
There is not much night life in the college. Mostly the place gets quite after 10 pm. College pgs or dormetories are available for students who live far by from the college. Although there is no specific hostel of this college but there are huge number of students who come from different parts of the state and some neighbouring states who usually live in pgs nearby of college
