Calcutta Institute of engineering and management has a very well decorated campus with two blocks each of five floors, a big library which is too huge and contains almost all course books, big grounds, two canteens, spacious classrooms. Here we are having a well-developed innovative cell, photography club, cultural club, etc. This is a great option for students to make a progress in their interests by joining these clubs. We have our annual fest "CELCIUS"...and this event is awaited by every student of not only CIEM but engineers all over Kolkata. Torneo is also a special event here, which is an interdepartmental soccer competition. Seniors ans juniors get along well with each other. They guide us in every possible way.

This college doesn't provide hostels inside this campus but hostels are present just outside the college campus. It's hard at a distance of 5 minutes. Accomodation-- two rooms, a dining area, washroom, and balcony.5 students are allowed. Students are completely safe and meals are also provided thrice a day. It's a very good option for students who come to study from a distant area.

No, I didn't have to face any interview session for admission. After the Wbjee counseling, I got an allotment in this college, and then further processes of admission took place. Admissions are basically done through these entrance examinations.
