The admission process is quite simple once the cut-off release you have to apply for the particular course and download the from the du site and go for counselling in the applied college along with the original documents required for the admission. It's a merit based admission process. Lady Irwin College is located in the centre of Delhi. The nearest metro station is Mandi House. The bus stop is also a few meters away. The campus is huge. Course Curriculum Overview
I have a keen interest in food processing and technology. Actually, most of the teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable except one and two. Teaching quality is also great. The teachers are very qualified the teaching methods are also good, projector, ppt are used apart from conventional methods. The students to teacher ratio are 20:1. The curriculum is also relevant. But for the industrial level internships are a must and it's also really helpful to decide which line you want to get in. i.e like research and development, sensory evaluation. The exam is conducted semester wise and the difficulty level is intermediate.
Internships Opportunities
An off-campus internship is necessary. Delhi milk service is the place where I have done my internship its an observatory internship so no stipend.
