Remarks

The educational system and all services like practical lab, gaming, gym, as well as library and xerox and printing center are quiet good.The whole Campus is very impressive. This college is very good according to its all dimensions in all over eastern india.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the faculties in our college have their Phd degree from various IIT and they always show their student-friendly attitude and behaviour. The teaching method of all faculties is very simple for a student to understand his/her different problems. The course curriculum like Bachelor of technology, Masters of technology, Masters of business administration etc are very greatful and impressive in our college. Every year almost 2000 students get their job in their different favourable companies. Almost 40-45 companies visit in our college to take the various talent in every year.

College placement is nice. Every year 40 to 45 company visit our college to give the placement. Almost 2000 students get their secure job from our in college in different fields by their academics and talent transformation.

Our college campus is east india's best college campus. In this campus every year many bollywood singer comes and makes our joyous. Our campus has a busket ball ground as well as 3 academic building and a admin building. Also there are a football ground, a cricket ground and also a swimming pool in our campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

1st year - 80,000/- 2nd year - 82,000/- 3rd year - 84,000/- 4th year - 86,000/- Scholarship also available in our college with different criteria. Here our college offers half semester fees if students score 8.5 or above CGPA. Our college gives an extra marks if students got the attendance 75% or above in a semester. Also our college gives a consideration over railway ticket for go to college.

Hostel Facilities

Hoatel facilities are very good. Also food which is provided from hostel is delicious. There are a girls' hostel as well as a boys' hostel in our college campus. The security of the hostels are very strict. The rooms of the hostel are not so large but normal in size and neat and clean. The locality is also very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Yes, I faced a written test for the admission. It was WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM. Here we solved the MCQ type answer which was based on physics, chemistry and Mathematics.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . 7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
