Remarks

As my first choice was the north campus, it's not only my choice I think its everybody choice. But consequently, I researched about south campus best college in Bsc mathematics then I found not only best but also largest college (5000 approx. student take admission every year in various courses) that provide various new facilities other south colleges. As I tell some pros of Deshbandhu college: COMES UNDER TOP 100 COLLEGE One of the online and best libraries in the whole DU. Another is faculties are much more experienced and most qualified from IIT. As in my batch, a lot of students cracked IIT JAM. Location is also matters, so connectivity is good. Con's: one of the most political issues always here during Elections. Buildings also not good, as in fractures a little bit not good as compared to Ramanujan college (beside Deshbandhu college). There is no placement for Math honours, it's only done for Computer science mainly.

As it comes top 10 science college in south campus. As 60 student teach directly as ration 1:60. Faculty mostly qualified PhD. As total 6semester and each semester papers held. Papers are normal as only previous solve you can achieve 6 CGPA.

Placement Experience

Not good for Mathematics, mainly focus on marketing and computer-related placement done. Also, statistics in math is good for placement. There is a chance for BSc Mathematics placement around 3-4 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are moderate as compared to others. As provide financial scholarship by the college. Also, there are central sector scholarships available. Mostly that student secured good CGPA in every semester they good scholarships by the college.

Campus Life

Life at Deshbandhu is too special as every year college function guest is unique and famous, also for sports there is scope and opportunity a lot for boxing, teerandazi, football, volleyball. A huge library that famous in whole DU. There is KSHITIZ group that provides a lot of opportunity in various field.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good.
