Remarks

The laboratory's are well equipped and spacious enough. Strong wife connectivity if we use college pcs and laptops. The classrooms have smart boards and wifi ones too. The classrooms are clean. The college is divided in 3 blocks

Course Curriculum Overview

This college puts more pressure on acamedics which puts us on a edge compared to others. It doesnt much help us in other platforms but encourages a lot to do. There are teachers who will help u or refer to u in platforms like gfgs.

Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is outstanding. 10% of the SAP are recruited from our college. Most of them are placed with high payed jobs. This year the highest lpa went upto 18+. Capgemini, wipro, Amazon, Infosys. All these company's come to our college.

College Events

We dont have a huge campus but expecting a large one in near future.College will help students in every way to get their dream jobs. Opportunities are no way less than the nits and iits. The college is trying to provide the best opportunities to us.

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3.
