Remarks

Hans Raj being a college in the North Campus of Delhi University motivated me to gamer admission here. Additionally, it is rated as an excellent college for Humanities. The college also presents many opportunities for personality development, with exposure in the form of societies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything is excellent, in accordance with what I had expected. Being one of the best colleges in Delhi University, the exposure the course and college have to offer together is great for development.

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 19290 per year

Internships Opportunities

Haven't really applied for any internships from the college side. But various opportunities keep on coming everyday from a lot of companies and for varied profiles.

Placement Experience

4.5

Primarily placements happen for the B.Com and Economics majors with the highest package offered at 1800000.

College Events

My college life has been very enriching and interesting so far. Except for the fest that sadly ends by 4 in the evening, the campus offers various backgrounds of people to mingle with, plenty of societies and well known competitions from the B.Com and Economics departments.

Fees and Financial Aid

Personally I have no clue about the same. But Delhi University does offer scholarships for girls and reserved categories.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is good in terms of sports facilities, wifi, libraries, classes and ac services. The college definitely lacks in terms of washroom and drinking water facilities specially for girls.

Hostel Facilities

Hans Raj doesn't offer hostel facilities for girls. Hence, PGs and Central DU hostels are the only option. I have opted for a PG whose rent including all charges comes to be 13000 pm. That's the average charge near the college area too.

Hostel Fee: INR 160000 per year

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

Placements of my college is quite ok, specially in my course the placement is good.Major students get placed. Big Companies visited our campus for placements- EY, Deloitte,Kpmg. Highest package of our college last year was 21 lakhs.

Harsh Truth about Hansraj

I applied for srcc, hasraj and hindu college, and i got hansraj college which was my second reference in the list but i could not made into other college due to my lack of timings, like i was a passed out of last year 2023 -24 batch and last year in our ways of admission process cut off was less so it could have been possible for me to get into srcc. Yes.They have to improve the helpdesk numbers and contacts. The college has to improve its communication with applicants.
