Harsh Truth about Hansraj

As i am from a business and commerce background this course automatically attracts me, but these course does includes a deep knownledge on Accounts, Law and management which helps an individual to exel in business or some other fields in life. the curiculum surely prepare as it is a practical course full of real life knowledge which we study in law and management. and the course also have a broader future academic pursuits. The course curriculum and teaching methods is great only in MPA ma'am some times try to be practical and ask question but no one is prepared excpet some few kids some it gets difficult, like explanation part get's messed up i guess due to different perspective. The improvement should be with college timing the college must follow timings like Shaheed Bhagat singh college morning and evening classes which makes the college less crowded and efficient as per student needs. The frequency and timings of exam are ok.

As i am a foreign student so i paid around Rs 108633 which includes FSR fee: 53240, Department fee: 23958 Course fee: 31435 Tuition fee rs 180, Caution fees: rs0 registration fee: rs600 , admission fees rs: 5, Development fee (college development + university development fee: rs 4500, lab fees: 0

Till now i have been going to college for last past 2 months till now i have not attended any such events like annual and technical festivals, even our fresher's have not been conducted by departments. Till date in name shake of event i had enjoyed orientation day and independence day nothing else. The books and journal in library are in great number the range is huge. the facilities and technological provision within classroom is again ok. they dont have any power socket in classes thats the main issue and their is no use of the old style socket. The sports and extracurricular activities are of name shake i would say as the sports ground of college is open from 12:40 pm and it gets occupied.

I applied for srcc, hasraj and hindu college, and i got hansraj college which was my second reference in the list but i could not made into other college due to my lack of timings, like i was a passed out of last year 2023 -24 batch and last year in our ways of admission process cut off was less so it could have been possible for me to get into srcc. But after joining hansraj college and its attandence issue i feel like i must have joined kmc, the student of KMC when i meet them they are chill and the teachers are also chill, even they have so much liberty on projects and assignment. i am getting fomo

The faculty to student ratio is very low, i am not sure about the number, but yes our core subjects faculty member are approachable, but extra classes like SEC, VAC, GE and AEC (EVS) i feel like they are waste of time, even teacher don't brother they only give assignment's to complete and this classes are not so productive. The names of the faculty i like are Shallu ma'am, Sneha Ma'am and Sonal Ma'am they are the teacher's to our core subject of BCOM hons for Section B, Semester1, they teach really well and are approachable at any time in college hours. The exam part i won't be able state it for now as i haven't given any exams yet as it is my begining in this new journey but as per i know from my seniors each and every student clears college exam. The course cirriculum is designed in such a way it can be hectic sometimes because of the internal assement as major chuck of marks is in teacher's hand and the attandence issue i feel is moderately is there which surpasses student's dream for opting ca and other similar courses. But some student still manages with the classes their professional courses.

There was no as such GD, interview question or test pattern for me. the admission criteria for us was to fill the form of DU 2025 were we fill up the form and pay our registration fee after that we give our exams and then if you match the cutoff in different rounds you will get admission to your desired college

As i mentioned earlier their is a gym but of name shake the timings are horrible no one attends the gym as per my knowledge, our cafeteria is good but crowed, overlly croweded and prices are high comparing to other colleges. and this year no hostel for us first year due to rennovation and campus timing 8:40 am to 2 p.m. and sometimes even 5:00 p.m. their is one famous hangout place inside college which is LP and outside only traffic and food places like Buger king, Taco bell etc.
