Course Curriculum Overview
B.Com (Hons) is the course if one wants to study at DU as there is no other course as close to ours in DU. From accountancy to finance and banking our college has it all. So curriculum can't get better and so are the faculties as everything best is put altogether at HRC.
Internships Opportunities
De Shaw, EY and many top groups comes for intenrships here. Cracking them though is very difficult but atleast we are given the chance for the same. Happy to grab one and stiped I was offered was 24000 for 6 weeks intenrships program.
Placement Experience
At HRC placements cell has majority of students from our department and this is the sole reason why I have chosen this course. From consultancy to finance roles everything is possible at HRC as companies like Bain Capital to Boston Consulting Group, every group comes to our college for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
HRC is probably the best commerce college of DU as we have a lot of things to do besides study here. The fees is also miniscule and that's the beauty of DU, best education at peanuts price. 30 odd thousand a year and that too can be paid in 2 parts as choice is in studnets hands.
Campus Life
Oorjaanis our annual event and it's a dance fest as dande society of the college organizes that. Then we have other events like Valid and TedX as well. Our campus is big and entering it the first thing is the sports complex which has a huge football ground and we play there often. This is how most times is spent at the campus.
Admission
I applied for CUET and Hindu College though was my first choice as even though SRCC is top ranked, my choice was Hindu College first and then HRC. Course I was certain that I will pursue this no matter otherwise leaving my hometown for any other course wouldn't have done any meaningful better for my future.
Faculty
One can check the DU website and see how many HRC representatives are involved in setting papers and also checking those. Our faculties are strict and so even in course like B.Com (Hons) scoring becomes tough. Their teaching though ensures that if we work hard and do as they say, we can score over 8 CGPA at will.
Night Life
Malka Ganj which is near our college is our hangoutout place as we have numerous things to do there and ofcourse the eating joints as well. So, I am happy with the location of th college and also the variety of places that are close to our campus.
