Course Curriculum Overview
Well Maths has been one subject in which I want complete command. This was the reason for choosing Mathematics Hons when I was eligible for every other branch. Our course can make us a pure mathematician as it's that goated.
Internships Opportunities
Top quality companies like Boston Group, HDFC Asset Management Company and my thought on internships is that having a paid intenrship helps and our college placements and intenrships cell do help students with that.
Placement Experience
Hansraj College's active placements cell is managing both intenrships and placements. Mind you both are great as our college is known for giving students the core placements and therefore Mathematics Hons students are placed in companies where they can make the best use of their abilities and also in the role they are best suited.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am Aniket Sharma and I took admission in 2024. The fees I paid is 33100 this year while last year it was 32400. However when you enroll in DU colleges an enrollment fees of 4000 has to be paid. Exams fees of 2500 per semester is also paid and thus annual fees is around 40000 a year.
Campus Life
HRC campus highlight is the main building which has posters of all the top alumnis who have passed out from there. SRK's poster is at the top and the sports facilities again are as good as the alumnis of our college. Our annual cultural fest which is a 3 day affair called Confluence is organized after Holi every year.
Admission
Glad that I didn't listen to other vocies as many told me to opt against this course. So college after having a score of 825 i could have got any. Hindu, ST, Stephens and Hansraj all three were in my grasp but I took admission here given the rich history our college possesses.
Faculty
My word writing about faculties is like mentioning Gods as they are GOAT if not God. Teaching from them is not just the best but intended to help students understand and feel better about their academics. I have encountered almost 20 plus faculties now and will admit that camaraderie with all of them has been too good.
Night Life
Our college is so productive that we don't feel like going elsewhere to hangout. 7 pm though is last as after that we have to leave the campus and Sudama Tea Stall is where we bounce immediately after leaving the college.
