Jogamaya Devi college is the morning session of Asutosh College under Calcutta University. It is located at Hazra. You can easily visit our college by metro (Jatin Das Park metro, gate no 1). Metrophobiac people can try the bus as well (Hazra Stoppage). Its timing is generally from 6.15 am to 11 am (summer) and in winter 7 am to 11.30 am. So, after attending classes in the morning you will have enough time to study or doing your preferable work. The library has all the books availability. Canteen is on the top floor, So students mainly prefer to eat outside rather than a canteen. Faculties were nice and knowledgeable. Laboratories are also good. Lab attendants were well trained. All the colleges under Calcutta University follow the same syllabus. It is not an autonomous college. Practical classes are more regular than theory classes. Students mainly depend on coachings for theory classes. Official staffs are a little bit irritated but their service depends on your behaviour too....Read More
