Remarks

because though it is a distance study yet the teaching is good in this institute for that purpose i have chosen this university and it is also short distance for me to travel and to complete my degree and also i can give time to my competitive exams beside this course

Course Curriculum Overview

The course there is up to date.Everything is organized. The faculties are great they are available to solve any problem The study schedule is also great. Gives time to have life outside school

The placement are also very good even many student also get good placement in different parts outaide weatbengal also and also there are various job opportunities and after completing we can even become a teacher of distance learning also

College Events

The campus life is good.there is aan annual fest that goes for around 2 weeks. There are also out of college events and people are encouraged to participate in them. Various cultural activities occurs.

yes there are various scolarship facilities for various meritious students.they also give loan for poor students so that they can study there and also various scolarships for them are also given so that they can achieve thier goal and also encourages them so that they can become succesful in life.

Campus Life

It is avety big campus and various types of sports events takes place even yearly all types of sports events take place yearly even for state and district level candidates are also taken.the lab is also very good the needed ewuipments are slso there and the library have a big collection of books we students find helpful as there are various collection of books of different writers and there are free wifi facilities in university.

Hostel Facilities

the hostel facilities and infrastructure are also good even the students find helpful and have a good study atmosphere of studying and also the rooms are also neat and clean and have a proper passage and the toilets and water facilities are also good meal are also given are of good quality.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.
