Good placement,nice environment.The learning environment here is nice and everyone studying can grow to their full potential provided they utilise the benefits judiciously.There is a dedicated club for every co curricular activity and academics are good indeed professors teach very well.The grading system is good

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well built which lays emphasis on both classroom learning and practical learning skills.on the academic front,the academics are good to go. Faculties here teaching are phd in their respective fields which adds to the knowledge they impart and the legacy of the faculties is overwhelming

Placement Experience

Here in every department there are a tons of placement opportunities and internship opportunities.The alumni base is strong so placemnts are a good to go.Various big companies come here for recruitment which benefits the students and highest median package is 34 lpa.

College Events

The campus life here is quite good.the clubs present here are quite active be it from techno to environmental clubs it adds to the charm of college.Lots of extracurricular activities are going on,various nightouts are held.Our techno management fest arohan is held with great deal and pomp.Also nityamini(formerly recstasy) is held in which big stars come to perform which adds a glory to it's campus life

Hostel Facilities

Days scholar. Thogh I am a days scholor I used spend some time with my fellow mates in hostel. There's the most peaceful atmosphere. .

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

I applied to IIEST Shibpur and was getting ECE there but I chose this college because of its brand name, infrastructure and placement which are all way above shibpur. No I did not get any rejection form college I applied for.
