Aditi's Review On Miranda House, New Delhi

Miranda House not only provides great academic faculty but also makes sure holistic development of the human being. The societies make sure the all round development of women of the 21st century. In today's world where women have to struggle to make their mark in the society, Miranda House provides and open and safe space for females to grow, nurture and establish themselves. As far as BA Programme is concerned it provides the exact example of unity in diversity. Having people from all over India learning and growing together makes it a beautiful experience.

The syllabus keeps on being updated. The readings change from time to time to provide a variety of exposure to students. The continuous availability of internships round the year makes sure we are accustomed to the practical work as well. The faculty is very helpful and motivating. Every teacher makes sure the student is comfortable in college and has the freedom to discuss her problems.

The placement cell and the entrepreneurship cell work very hard to provide never ending opportunities for it's students. The portal is updated every week and new opportunities are added. Last year we had the opportunity to have an academically sound conversation with Tapsee Pannu and Ravish Kumar. Swara Bhaskar and Anita Desai are Miranda's own budding women

Being part of the world famous circuit the Delhi University, not a single week passes by without extra curricular activities. Various seminars and panel discussions make sure to keep one occupied through out the college life. Debates, photography and dancing are just some of the many enriching opportunities.

College infrastructure does not disappoint you. Library is equipped with a variety of books and provides a reading room for the visually impaired as well. The computer lab is an air conditioned room with updated systems. One feels jovial being surrounded by mother nature. The kush green front lawns and the NCC ground provides ample space for physical activity. The college is even equipped with a basketball and tennis court to promote physical well being of girls.
