Remarks

i am average student and my goal was to do btech from pujab these college was in hometown so i choose to take admission in electrical branch. college also provide placement if we work hard.college campus is fine

Course Curriculum Overview

course curriculum is average and academics are although no so good. Faculty members of our college were very cooperative and highly knowledgeable. They gave students a holistic development to grow and nurture themselves with academic and co-curricular activities. Students are ready to work in the academic field but not industry-ready.

Placement Experience

Almost 40% of the students got placed.. Private companies were the top recruiters. Our course was not professional, so there was no internship. We have to go through Net-UGC exam for further opportunities or should opt for B.Ed course. job opportunities are their outside campus.

College Events

Many fest are organised and technical events are also. Our department was airy and spacious. There were an air-conditioned seminar room and facility of a projector for presentations. There was a spacious library for students. Hostel rooms were airy and spacious, and there was a Wi-Fi facility in the whole campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placement Experience:

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

All over ranking of my college is 3.5/5. As engineering is maximum work for student then a teacher.campus location,infrastructure like building and hostal managment is very poor and far away from main city.

Remarks:

College management wasnt good at all as there main concern was money only. Our security refund is still pending even after 3 years of completion of my degree. Other wise the college was good in terms of studies.

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.
