Remarks

The subject I study that is zoology, is the one of the best core courses Charuchandra College offers, that's the main reason for choosing to complete my undergraduate course in this college. Charuchandra offers friendly atmosphere with best zoology faculty, not just zoology other courses also provide with the reknowned teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course provides small divisions which ultimately leads to the full syllabi, our college has done good if seen from the past, and since offers best of faculty there are no doubts about its success, PhD holders to doctorates all are seen in one helping and enlightening students with their knowledge.

Campaigning programmes are held which opens a wide view for various jobs. Till date the placement and job opportunities are quite a good bit of success.

Charuchandra College organises fresher's welcome in different gathering places, sports and other competitions are also held, other than that college has its own magazine where students are all welcome to provide with the best of what they can related to the specified topic.

College provides library with most of the needed books and documents, friendly inter and intra college competitions are also held, WiFi facilities are somewhat available labs are up to date with the required equipments, boys and girls common is also there.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Likes

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

They provide you with various oppertunities like exposure visits, seminar , worshops, etc.

Dislikes

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Study pressure is not that much it will be sufficient to stu61 months before final exam
No strict college there is not compulsory to wear college uniform
Faculty are good they are supportive helpful

Dislikes

College campus is small infrastructure is not good
Placement and internship opportunities is very less
Number of students in each batch is more

Curricullum is quite ok crowd of students are more coding culture should be introduced need of improvement of infrastructure as well in my batch 2023 to 2027 there is total 3 exam in each semester including end sem and 2 test

Likes

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Teacher are very good and friendly for us

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Good College

I applied for various other colleges such as Heramba Chandra College, Prafulla Chandra College, Dinabandhu Andrews College, Bidhannagar College, KK Das College. I couldn't make it there because of the new admission process of Calcutta University. I didn't get rejection from any college. In the new process you can apply for various colleges but you can get approval for only one College and if you do not want to get admission in the college. All total are good

There are no entrance exam. Addmission process is very poor . Fees structure is too high compassion other colleges. No library facilities,no cantine, no hostel facilities. No extra tution facility. But the college authorities collect fees all above facilities. Addmission process is easy for player. Charuchandra callage is also know as sports college.that because the collage athletic team , football team, and cricket team is very impressive performance. But the student if he/she introduce himself as a player he/she get no extra facility from college. I want to see college improve there fees structure.
