Remarks
The faculty of this college is very good. especially teachers of my department are very helpful and down to earth. The admission process was online due to the covid situation. My admission date is 20/09/20. The reason behind preferring this college, it is nearest to my house.
Course Curriculum Overview
Physics is my favourite subject that's why I choose this course. Total 5 teachers in Physics faculty and 35 students in the first year so the ratio is 7:1. All 5 teachers are MSc passed in physics. Two of them are PhD holder. They are well trained teachers and very helpful towards students. The exam process is semester wise. The honours papers are very tough.
Placement Experience
There is no such placement on campus after 3 years of the honours degree. There is no guaranteed placement here. But after graduation students can easily get a job in any company in or outside the state according to their merit and talent. My plan after graduation is to do MSc in experimental physics.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is 5800 yearly. West Bengal government provide swami Vivekananda's scholarship to students who got 75 percent marks in the previous exam. There will no certain job gave after these three years course.
Campus Life
Charu Chandra College annual fest and tech fest are conducted in the month of December. Many singers actors and dancers performed in the fest. Our library is very big and lots of books are there. Every type of books is available there. Our college is very good at football and cricket. In football, we are 3 times the internal champion of South Kolkata.
