Remarks
Many seniors of my school took admiasion here, in same cource, I'm studing (Zoology honours). During college admission, I asked them about the college and they gave nice review about Zoology Department of Our college. Moreover I've also heard that Many Calcutta University (CU) toppers in Zoology are from our college and the zoology department of our college is one of the best Zoology department under CU.
Course Curriculum Overview
Wonderfull college, faculties are very much responsible and never left any part of syllabus pending. Most of the faculties help by their heart and soal. Yes oviously not all techers are equally helpfull; in no college all teachers are equally very much responsible. But most of the teachers are really very helpfull. And I think even the student worst in his/her studies can achieve something from this college.
Placement Experience
Zoology Honours is a general B.Sc degree. It has no placements. Many seniors from our college had qualifed NET, SET or GATE or got chance in Science College for M.Sc.
College Events
On 1st October is our foundations day and so annual program is celebrated on this day by all the members of our college. Moreover our department had made a short film on how nature is taking her revenge in disguise of Corona Virus and Amphan.
Campus Life
Very small campus, no canteen. But in Zoology lab there are many specimens, machines and all those things found only in a few colleges under CU including ours. Library of our college has many books of Zoology. For other subjects I dont know.
