Remarks

Azim Premji University has one of the best economics course as well as faculty in the country. Moreover, it has a diverse set of common cirriculum courses, which are best suited to develop overall character.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was most up to date. In fact, our batch was given a revised version of the syllabus so that it fits the contemporary context. Exposure through group assignments and seminars is also provided as part of the course. Arjun Jayadev, who is professor as well as head of the department for economics taught us in the first year, and has worked with Economics Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz.

Placement Experience

4

Most graduates from Azim Premji University find job opportunities in social work across the country.

College Events

5

The college holds frequent festivals and attracts maximum participation from the students. Most festivals are restricted to the college alone, and only a couple of events invite other colleges to participate.

Campus Life

The new campus of university is equipped with football grounds, cement and wooden basketball courts, cricket pitch and volleyball court. There is wi-fi connectivity all over the campus for students and faculty. The library on the new campus is multi-storied, providing access to thousands of books for reference as well as casual reading.

Hostel Facilities

The university runs a compulsory residential undergraduate programme. As a result, all undergraduate students have to stay in hostels on campus. Each room has two occupants, with two beds, two cupboards, two chairs and a table.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosed artificial intelligence and data science because it has a very good future.the world now is depending on ai so its very useful for me to get a job. My college and the faculties r really preparing us so well for the real world applications. But they can still improve in the teaching methods. The frequency of the exams r really very good and even the time is very efficient, it will be quite difficult but its for improvement of our practical thinking.
