S.G.T.B. Khalsa College is one of the most prestigious colleges of University of Delhi. It's popular for its infrastructure, academic faculty and co-curricular activities. Admission process was very smooth and transparent.

I chose History Hons. course as I'd always been inclined towards social sciences. Faculty: Student :: 4:60

Fees and Financial Aid

It's fees is one of the most expensive in the entire University of Delhi around 26000 per year.

Campus Life

Life at Khalsa is absolutely fun, the vibe is truly enthralling. It's fest Lashkara is one of the most sought after college fests in Delhi conducted in October. Classrooms are well-equipped with air conditioners, smart classes, blackboards, plentiful of desks. The Khalsa College ground is one of the largest college grounds in University of Delhi. Khalsa is extremely popular for its sports-related activities especially cricket, volleyball and basketball. Ankur, DADS, English LitSoc, Anhad, Swarang and Acrostic are some of the top college societies in Khalsa.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
