Remarks

The college is a well renowned and recognized one among all commerce students. Some of the faculties are even very well known by all. Last but not the least the connectivity is really good and everything bus and autos are available.

Yes, absolutely the teachers are highly qualified and helpful too, the accounts department is divided among many teachers. Our professors are very helpful, helps us to solve the difficulties. But in our department the English portion is not good at all, we sometimes lose our concentration during the English class.

Placement Experience

1) 50% of students were placed in the course. 2) The highest salary is 10520, lowest is 7000 and average is 8500. 3) TCS, Capegemini, Genpact, Kotak Mahindra Insurance and Tech Mahindra visited here. 4) Process executive, processor, admin, accountants, data entry specialist, web chat, etc. roles were offered.

College Events

Events such as holi, freshers, social seminars, sports and saraswati puja are organized by seniors and college management. There are many club like fashion music dance and debate. Teachers are really nice.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

Sivanath sastri honest college review

Students who want to get admission to seventh Sastri college for b.com (Hons.) Should at least get 75% ( general category)in their 12th standard. Sanath Sastri's admission forms have to be filled out online and there is no offline form available. Schedule caste, Schedule tribes, and other backward castes are provided benefits of reservation but economically weaker section reservation is not available. At the time of filling admission form students have to mention whether they are availing reservation or not. seventh Sastri college provides a list of candidates who are eligible to apply for admission. But colleges prefer students on first cum first serve basis for these listed students and not on their marks. As soon as seats are full for the course no student can be entertained further even if she falls on the list.
