Likes
- The class timings are punctual and very accurate. Most teachers are also very sincere and dependable.
- Classes are well maintained and clean. Sitting arrangements are ok ok.
- Campus is compact. It has a beautiful garden and also has a playground to play.
Dislikes
- College canteen is not well maintained as not very much variety of food is not available but only rich food.
- Being a women cleanliness of washroom is very important but in out college washrooms are not very clean.
- Some teachers are not very friendly. They yell at students for silly mistakes some students are uncomfortable of them.
Course Curriculum Overview
The main reason to choose this course was because I like commerce. I like business mindset and as my HS marks was good so I had no problem to choose this course. The curriculum the best but can't say it's the worst. College follows the common syllabus as given CU(Calcutta University). College teaches us about how a company actual works how a business works, fundamentals of any business etc. College should concentrate on tecahing us about more real life problems, like how most of the multinational companies work, how could we get benifit from our course, if we don't get a job right after graduation how can we make ourself stable like that.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total course fee of Bcom Honours is 31,840. During the admission college charged semester fees 355 rs. and extra 9710 rs extra as yearly charge, On the 2nd year college charged 10,000 instead of 9,710 along with the semester fee (355 rs). The admission fee (9710 + 355) is same for all, independent on caste.
Campus Life
Overall campus life is fun as I made many new friends. We play everyday after college. But on the other hand our college doesn't arrange any annual fest or freshers party. On some rare occation like Rabindra Jayanti, Indepence day college arrange some cultural programme. College do have a library but we are not allowed to go there, library only provides us books semester wise for a very short amount of time. College arrange an annual sports ceremony every year. I also participated in the ceremony once. Our college have some clubs but I'm not interested about them so I can't give any information.
Admission
After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college. I was a little bit upset at the first but my home teachers said that it is also a good college and cheered me up. I applied thorough college's official website and after I got selected I got a messege from college then college opend it's online portal and I paid there. After a few days college provided me a routine and my classes began afterwards.
Faculty
Faculty is not bad. Our HOD's behaviour is good. He is very friendly and helps students if he can. As I mentioned our college's course structure is not stable. College charged total of 355 + 9710 rs during admission but in the second year they charged 355 + 10,000 rs. In the third year I'm not sure how much they'll charge maybe it'll be near 10,500. Exam patterns are simple one internal (20 marks), one semester exam (80 marks). Every year the pattern is same.
