Behaviour of teaching staff and other facility members
A new washroom near the seminar liability
Our college have liabary for each department.. for b.com related books r available in seminar liabary and the main liabary i.e the central liabary ✨️❤️

Dislikes

Building Washroom have broken windows.. although no one can see through them but just fees awkward

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are frank and friendly.. and teaching method is also good.. and we r teach on smart board so thats a lil exciting for first days of college and.. teachers teaches very well dept and conceptually and logically

Im in first semister i have to paid ?10990 and i have to paid the same for second semister next year. Tution fees - ?1020, admission fee- 150, session charges- ?200, sports fee- ?200, student health home fee- ?10, Sundry physical facility maintaince fee- ?4000, sundry academic facility maintaince fee- ?5410. And the scholarship are vivekananda scholarship and kanyasree

Campus Life

The college organises various groups like dancing, photography, fine arts, drama club, singing, yoga etc etc.. every year the organises sports .. the liabary of Sivanath Sastri books available based on current and old version as per your want

Admission

Sivanath Sastri is a brand name i.e it have a good reputation.. yes i do get rejection from Goenka morning.. and the admission procces is online from this year that is the online website centralize admission portal.. and the eligibility for this college is 60%-70%

Faculty

The faculty member are friendly and have good behavior.. i dont know the name of the faculty member but they are helpful and help u regarding any queries.. like is the teacher is present or not, on first day help you with in which floor does your room is as per the room number etc etc

Night Life

There are many placese near the college .. like cafes and food stalls and also a lake near by... timing of shivanath during the winters is 6.45am to 11.30am and during summers 6 am t0 11am .. and there are many hostel nearby

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

the reality of kd college

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am from Commerce background so I need to make my career on this way so I choose this course . The faculty and student receive is not good the students and the faculty ratio is 10 : 5 The faculties are educated from various university and institutes they know everything but they are unable to delivered them to us as because they are some aggressive attitude. In every six months there is a semester and it is very difficult to pass if you don't study anything from the first.
