Remarks

I chose this college because it is a very well know college for commerce. My parent and elder sister suggest me to join this college. It is a morning college. It is a girls college. I heard from my seniors that the facilities of this college is very nice and helpful too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are very helpful and teach us very well. They solve our problems in a very good aspect. They explained everything in very proper way. So our academics have become so easy. With my experience, i can say our faculty are good in terms of teaching and also managing events. They are really friendly on that.

Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know much about placements because I am in 2nd semester.But I heard from my seniors and professors also that some companies like TCS,ICICI,WIPRO come to our college and select eligible candidates after taking exam which is done through a process.

College Events

Campus life is great. 1 ) Saraswati Puja, 2) Independence Day, 3) Republic Day, 4) Yoga Day, 5) Holi Day. These are celebrated throughout the year and the students participate with equal pomp and gaiety. Not only students, Professors also participate in the celebrations. This is seen throughout the year.Many students are involoved in clubs like sports, cultural club, etc. Everyone is helpful. Be it cultural events, fests, sports activities, it has been a wholesome experience.

Campus Life

Our college holds sports every year on a big stadium. We have good WiFi connection in our campus. Our library is awesome. We have two libraries in our college.One is central library which is very beautiful and big too. Another one is seminar library which has also a good collection of books. Also the management of our library is awesome.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college. Sivanath sastri honest college review

Students who want to get admission to seventh Sastri college for b.com (Hons.) Should at least get 75% ( general category)in their 12th standard. Sanath Sastri's admission forms have to be filled out online and there is no offline form available. Schedule caste, Schedule tribes, and other backward castes are provided benefits of reservation but economically weaker section reservation is not available. At the time of filling admission form students have to mention whether they are availing reservation or not. seventh Sastri college provides a list of candidates who are eligible to apply for admission. But colleges prefer students on first cum first serve basis for these listed students and not on their marks. As soon as seats are full for the course no student can be entertained further even if she falls on the list.
