Likes

My college provides good faculties. The teaching methods are good. Many of our Professors are pursuing PhD degree and many of then are already done their OhD degree.
Our college provides lots of course, competition that helps to build our career.

Dislikes

Our college actually rental college. So we don't have separate toilet for man and woman.
The fees of our college is very high for middle class family.

I choose this course because of my interest in finance and business. This course helps me to build my foundation for future academic pursuits. I don't think there has any areas to improve in the course or teaching methods, as my college already provides digital class room for us. My college is best and in future it will be more better than now.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college, I paid approximately rs 11,000 per year. My other batch mates are paid almost rs 5000 in my college. But in other colleges, the fee structure per year is approximately rs 2000. My college doesn't provide scholarships.

Campus Life

My college doesn't hold festivals because it is a morning college. But the day college, which is the same building, has lots of festivals. I don't know the number of books or journals available in the library, but it has many books and journals. Our college provides lots of sports, competition, and courses. Many of the students of our college are in club members.

Admission

I just applied only 2 colleges and from both of the colleges, I got selected. But I choose this college as my college is the 2nd most famous Commerce College in Kolkata. The admission process is very simple like other colleges. 12th pass marksheet, adhar card, photo, phone number, email and ?10000-?12000 .

Faculty

All our Professors are very good. They all are student friendly and provide lots of facility for students. My favourite Professor is our HOD Dr.Soummya Banerjee and Professor Debanjan Laga. I don't have any Professor to dislike. Our college provides Internal Exam like other colleges and this exam is a part of our course. But our Internal Exam are tough than other colleges as our college is 2nd most famous Commerce College in Kolkata.

BCom(Hons.) is a 6 semester (3 years) course. Once you complete your fourth semester, you become eligible to sit for placement opportunities. You need to have a minimum of 70% attendance to appear before the placement committees at any given point in time. 4/10 students who appear for placements secure the same. Companies like Godrej, Tata, and others have made their footfall at Heritage College and have hired a number of people for their jobs. As Heritage College is a new institution, it is growing each day, and every other year, more and more companies visit to hire students from the campus.

I am planning for an MBA which wasn't confirmed and a Bachelorette of commerce is a basic degree one must obtain plus I am also looking out to be a ca so I felt B.Com is the best option I can choose. Faculty is very nice by nature and teachings are good too students who attend are every attentive mostly having good joyful time like every class but do consider teachers present and their teachings. Placement Experience:

The placement percentage of our college is quite high around 50%. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 1.2 lakhs per annum and the highest salary offered is Rs. 6 lakhs per annum. The average salary offered is Rs. 3 lakhs per annum. According to my opinion, the average salary is decent but it should be better. NGOs should come and give internships to the students.

My experience till now at Bhawanipur education society, Kolkata.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement opportunities are very high at Bhawanipur education society college. The percentage of placement is quite high out there i.e. 60% - 70% .The highest package offered last year was 10 LPAA. Internships are also available easily while doing any course. The massive companies like Amazon for finance and marketing posts, and companies like KPMG, Ernest and Young, ITC also came for recruitment for different posts, which is very nice.

Remarks:

It is a prestigious college to pursue a bachelor's in commerce. The college is well known all throughout the state and India for its able faculty and discipline. It is among one of the best colleges in the nation and has a decent environment which is somewhat conducive for studies so it was a perfect option for me as I could easily cope up with the curriculum along with the studies for my Chartered Accountancy exams. The infrastructure is reminiscent of old architecture but the college packs in all spaces for sports, education and recreation.

Remarks:

College Infrastructure. The college is highly facilitated. Each and every class out there has AC, Projectors and some may even have smart boards. The library has ample books and the issuance is convenient. There are department wise laboratories as well and all the equipments are available. WiFi is there. The canteen provides tasty snacks and food. Academics I am studying B. com here because I wanted to have an acumen for the commerce as a subject. The quality of teaching was good but the main problem is that half of the classes get cancelled due to mass bunk. Students barely attend the college here because they are busy with their professional courses. The college comes under Calcutta University.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
