Remarks
Organized. From parking lots to paying fees to paying fines to festivals to calendar to security to sports to cultural events. Clean place.
Course Curriculum Overview
Problem-solving, teamwork and delegation was the topics touched upon and taught meticulously which is direct requirement in the everyday professional life. Plenty of on-campus placements. More than 10 companies come over for recruitment.2 industrial visits take place during the course.
Placement Experience
KPMG, E&Y, Accenture, AnZ, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Amazon were among the ones I remember. Recruitment had a minimum cut off percentage based on merit, but not all companies. Then came the interview phase and final formalities. Around 65% would get placed. Grooming and presentation skills were taught to further in interviews.
College Events
Business fests twice a year. Inter and intra-collegiate. A 2 day festival which would comprise of numerous events based on business, commerce, trading, public speaking and teamwork. Cultural fests twice a year which would invite a plethora of colleges everytime to build a network for the future. Management fests to prepare leaders, entrepreneurs and invoke a sense of individuality. A fest every week overall considering the number of courses and students. All of them were huge.
Fee Structure And Facilities
1,55,000 in 2015 was my fee. Though the college has courses which range from 10,000 per year to 1,00,000 a year. Concession and scholarships were given. The college is more or less transparent. A lot of fines and penalties though. There was no donation to be paid as it was mostly based on merit. Students outside of the state and country had to pay more than localities. Library fines, student associations and other activities came with a cost.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not avail any loan or scholarship. I think my fee was more or less ok to pay. Eligibility must have been merit and financial background
Campus Life
Gender ratio must have been 9 girls for every 10 boys. Fresher parties would be organizedThe auditorium was amazing. World class actually were so many events would be held. The campus is massive which makes easy for multiple events to take place. There were strict rules on how one gender could behave with the opposite gender. Dress codes were way too strict and a general sense of intolerance towards progressive ideas was visible.
Alumni/Alumna
I used to think the world is small but its actually because I studied here is because I have a huge network of people in different walks making it easy to get advice on any topic.
Admission
Initially, I was a little perplexed cause there were so many courses, but I wanted something that would help me belong and stand out at the same time. This institution churns out students who, regardless of any course will end up acquiring essential life skills such as public speaking, team work and networking solutions.Admission procedure is simple, online entrance test, interview and voila!
Faculty
18 lecturers, avg age must have been 35-38All of them were diploma holders and most had multiple degrees under their name giving them a wide variety of expertise. Teachers were also equipped to answer all doubts, hand out necessary material for studying and future research. Some lecturers used their knowledge in the practical world too.
