Course Curriculum Overview

5

We have the Be spoke curriculum, where we can design our pgdm subjects according to our interests. If you are a finance major, you can opt for finance courses from first term onwards, midway if you change your mindset from finance, you still have the choice to go for other specializations by choosing different courses.

Internships Opportunities

5

We had Blackrock, Informatica, KPMG, Zepto, VLCC, Wakefit and more participating in our IIP. Most students also get Pre placement offer from these companies and it depends on how the student performs in interviews and while working in internships. The stipend can be as low as 5k and can go as high as 25-35k.

Placement Experience

4

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

Fees and Financial Aid

- There are total 3 installment 5 lakh, 5.25 lakh, and 5.25 lakh respectively - Registration fees was 50000 along with hostel security and alumini fees of total 30000 - For PGDM IB(Internation Business) the fees is - Scholarships are available for those in need under padode foundation also if you are a state and above level sports player you will get the fee waiver.

Campus Life

5

The major events that we have currently is Milaan, an alumni meetup event where all the notable alumni's meet in a huge event like party, it is usually held in December and the other is kanyathon, where we invite runners from all around India and raise funds that go to educational needs of girl child, it is usually held in March. We have a Big library and there are countless books in there for every genre and niche. The facilities we have in our classrooms are top notch, we have cameras installed which record ongoing lectures live and we can access those lectures anytime from our LMS system. We have committees in our college like Alumni, Placements, Admissions, Events Committee and More. We have to go through interview processes for being a memebr in these commitees and we need to go through student elections to become head or secretaries for each commitee and for college's President and Vice President. All these elected secretaries and President, form the student council which works for the students betterment.

Hostel Facilities

4

The rooms are not that big, but are spacious. We have 4 blocks in our hostel, a ground, cafeteria and gym. The hostel has partnership with sodexo for food, we have different menu for everyday. The food is average and sometimes not that good at all. For registration process, we just have to fill a form and select rooms and floors.

Admission

For me it was strategic location of the college, the curriculum like PEP, personality enhancement program which prepares you for interviews and improves your personality just like an mba or pgdm person needs. I didn't get rejected from any college, my plan was to go abroad but because of some issues I had to drop to idea. As for the admission process, you have to go through a GD and PI round and should have your entrance exam scores like CAT, MAT or NMAT.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio, in a lowball sense, 1:13. Whenever a new student gets admitted, a faculty is assigned to them as a faculty advisor to clear their doubts regarding any processes or college. Mrs. Punita Rajpurohit mam is one of the best faculties for me, she is also a CMA. The way she teaches finance and accounting is excellent and easy to understand. Some other faculties I like are Mr. Anand Narsimha, he is truly a marketing genius. Number of exams per term depends on how many subjects you choose each term. Also their difficulty level depends on the course. Like core courses like Corporate finance and Managerial Decision making have harder exams whereas elective courses like Cost and Management Accounting have easier exams.

Night Life

4

The gym is not that big, but you can have good workouts in it, it is in hostel itself. The In time restriction time for hostel is 10:00pm which is viable. The locality is safe around night and i have never encountered anything uncertain.

The placement opportunities at IIBS are fairly decent, especially for students who are proactive and focused on skill development. The college has a dedicated placement cell that works to connect students with companies across sectors like banking, finance, marketing, HR, and consulting.

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
