Course Curriculum Overview
JAGSoM follows the case based study curriculum. These helps in interactive classroom session which help us to get real life industry knowledge. The curriculum is focused on making students holistic in nature and make them industry ready. Exams are conducted in every 3 months.
Internships Opportunities
Placement cell of JAGSoM assist in internship opportunity. We have 100% internship placement for atleast 3 months for the batch of 2022-2024. Alongside internship JAGSoM opens opportunity for live projects for the students.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for the placement after 5th semester. We have dedicated placement cell ran by student committee as well as faculties incharge. Companies such as HDFC, Tiger analytics, Wow momos, etc have been on campus for hiring process. Our average package for the batch of 2021-2023 was 1350000/- with 100% placement rate.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total of 1500000/- tution fees I paid + 50000/- during registration for the foundation and external courses that college provides. This year the tution fees is going to increase by approximately 100000/- All other expenses such as mess, travelling to college, library, etc are covered in tution fees.
Campus Life
Our main festival is called as Kanyathon that is held in the month of February. We have library in college as well as in the hostel with more that 1000+ relevant books. Library is fully air-conditioned with ample amount of space for the students to study. Classroom have best facilities with centralized a/c, projectors, comfortable seating area.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fees are included in the tution fees. Hostel rooms are very clean but not too spacious. Twice a week maid comes to clean the room Hostel has common bathroom area. Food quality is pretty decent, don't expect 5 star restaurant food.
Admission
I applied to Welingkar business school, Mumbai but JAGSoM seems to be far better in terms of faculties and facilities. As it is the residential program so there is continuous interaction between the students which helps in overall development of students. We have 4 steps admission process, which includes Group Exercise, Personal Interview, Shoulder panel interview and JagMat exam
Faculty
We have faculties with high industry experience. Our faculty to students ratio is 1:20. Faculties here are so friendly that one can approach them at any point of the day to get guidance. There are total 6 terms + foundation term. We have tri-semester academic structure, where the exams are conducted in 3 months.
Interview Experience
Admission process was of 4 rounds. Begining with the JagMat exam which was aptitude test, followed by Group Exercise where 8 to 10 candidates have to work on one assignment then followed by Personal Interview and shoulder panel interview.
