Remarks

The environment of the college speaks for itself. The student body is one of its kind and the college management is satisfactory.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is fair and research driven. The course is divided into 6 semesters throughout 3years invluding an internal examination every semester and an external examination at the end of every semester. The curriculum is strictly based on the guidelines drawn out by the University Grants Commission.

Placement Experience

4.5

There are different cells catering to Placement and Internship Opportunities and it is a flawless process to get into anyone you desire.

College Events

5

All the Festivals, Annual Fest, Department Fests and much more throughout the year. Samsung, Nescafe, One plus, T series etc organise fests and competitions too. We have speakers from all over India which are invited yearly ranging from politicians, Youtubers, Journalists, Civil servants etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very feasible and the ROI after you get placed is below 0. That means you earn more in your first after being placed and the cummulative sum that you earn is more than the three years fees that you have paid. The fee structure is one of its kind and very different from private colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

None did not require as the fees is very low and taking a loan in most of the cases is not required.

Campus Life

The Campus life is as good as it can get. Extracurricular activities are filled with as we have around 50 societies. Sports facilities are available. The gender ratio is good. There are a lot if debates throughout the year. There is also hostel parties. Freshers of every department take place as well as the college fresher and the farewell too.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumni network is very helpful. Our ex PM is also from Hindu College. Seniors are very helpful.

Admission

The cut offs are generated after you have registered with DU. The process is a smooth process and less time consuming. Once your documents are verified you will be admitted to the college on that day itself. There is a gap of 45 days from the registration date to the date when the first cut off is released.

Faculty

5

The faculty is very well experienced and from the Delhi University circuit. Regular classes take place and the teachers are well versed in their subject matter. They are always ready to help and are a big part of our college journey. They help us in laying our first steps in our career

Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides placements for Science and Commerce Students, not for BA Students. The college has a good record in the placement cell. I am an Arts student so I don't have any placement. So I choose UPSC as my career option. I will try until I succeed.

Placement cells do not provide placements to English graduates. Only a few companies came to hire English graduates. I'm planning to do a master's or B.Ed to secure a career in teaching after my graduation.
