Remarks

Subject teachers are chosen through lottery which isn't a good thing as a result we have to manage with the teacher with lesser knowledge in the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers complete the course take revision tests then internal examinations are held. We are given many assignments. No, the curriculum groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students. Only theoretical knowledge is provided. No industrial visits organized for the students.

Placement Experience

3.5

Jio, concentrix, policy bazaar, Amazon, Infosys, wipro, TCS, IBM are few companies that have visited the campus for placement. You must pass in interview or placement test. the tentative percentage of students placed every year from my campus is around 90%. The institute send us on internship of 3 weeks at the end of 4th semester.

College Events

3.5

Some competitions happened recently were sports day, robotic competition, drama competition they weren't that big but somewhat fine. One big event celebrated recently was one of the firm came in for 3 day seminar in college forBCA and B.Tech students for which everyone was super excited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quiet expensive. For BBA(B&I) fee is 101000 For first year student, which you have to pay through DD later when we complete 1st year, we are given online portal to pay the fee. Yes there are additional charges like University charges. Yes, the college provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

College offer scholarship if you secure top position in a year. Total rs 10000 are given to the student who secure first place in a year(both semesters).

Campus Life

Gender ratio of male to female is like 3:1 in my course. Campus life is full of unexpected turns as we are new to this type of life. Fresher party is not arranged by the college instead by the students that to outside college campus. Labs are nice and somewhat working. The ground is not so big, don't have very high expectations for sports and all. Debates were good in our small auditorium. Robotic competition was utter time waste.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I've opted hostel. Rooms are not too big, we were given two beds tables chairs cupboards and thats it, there is no wifi facility available no indoor sports or gym facility available for us. Yes it's sharing, 2 students in one room. There are many PGs nearby they charge approximately rs 10000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Everyone is helpful. They doesn't back off from helping. This day I went for the interview for a society, next to me a senior was sitting I didn't knew she was a senior. I talked to her normally like she was in my same class. I asked about college teachers seniors and many things. later when she went and joined the interviewers, I was quite surprised.

Admission

I was from commerce background and wanted to go in management field. It's recommendations, accommodation facilities, available transport facility, hostel facility made me choose this college. As for Admission procedure you've to fill entrance exam form then give exam wait for results then fill the colleges in order in which you would like to get admission in, according to your marks and preference list you will be selected. Then get your documents checked, fill 5 -10 more forms, pay fee through DD. And you are all set.

Faculty

2.5

Tentative number of classes are 6-7. Teachers are quiet experienced and qualified and above 30 in age. Teachers are selected according to lottery system so that is one of the flaws some teachers are very expert in providing clarity about the subject. Some of the teachers hold industry-experience.

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College - [VMMC], Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Reviewed on Dec 10, 2025(Enrolled 2013)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Reviewed on Dec 10, 2025(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was studying, students were doubling down to study Software engineering, no matter which stream they belong too. But now, Electronics and Communication has become an important area to study as it holds promosing carreer options in the age of AI where we need Chips and hardware design, server management. People in mechanical engineering can excel if they focus on building something rather than just studying. In order to prepare for real world applications, one has to do a lot of things rather than sticking to only one persuit. I don't have much to suggest something in course carriculam and this college has best teaching methods regardless what they are taught. Students have ample time to do things they like in every semister. Studying for nearly 2 weeks before sessional exams and 1 month before final exams is enough and rest of the time can be dedicated into building something important.
