Remarks

My college has great faculty with respect to other private Engineering colleges in West Bengal. Secondly it has all the lab facilities required to complete all practicals prescribed by the university.

Course Curriculum Overview

The market has hit rock bottom for Civil Engineering as jobs are less as well as the salary.It should bounce back soon. Field work without academics is useless.The academics was good so we're the faculty.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 395000 per year

Placement is bad.As mentioned earlier the industry itself is declining.so nothing to do.plus the training and placement cell is lazy.

College Events

It was good enough. The relatively small campus was limiting in certain ways.The events like fests were enormous but all events had to take place in a auditorium rented by college as the college auditorium was very small.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
