Course Curriculum Overview

The course basically consists of four semesters with several subject and lab activities. They carry out various case studies which help the students to gain knowledge and experience for different subjects.

The college helps the students in every aspect of their placement and job opportunities. They provide the necessary training and workshops which help them to cope up and develop their knowledge and experience towards their work.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a little expensive and students have to do their payments through net banking or card-based. The course costs up to Rs. 1,20,000 per annum which includes books too. Students can make use of the college bank for their payment process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have got good marks in my graduation and wanted to pursue higher study I have chosen this course. We have around 50 students in our geography pg department. And we have 5 professors and some guest lecturers. Our student-faculty ratio was decent. It's almost 9 students per one faculty. All of our professors are highly qualified. All of them have done PhD and they are very interactive even in online classes. Due to covid practical classes were not possible as college was closed. We have a total of 4 semesters, practical exams & internal assessment tests. Exams are moderate to pass

WBSU-MY 2 YEAR EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

After completing and getting good marks in graduation my next step is to pass MSc with first-class and prepare myself for the NET SET exam so that I can either do a Ph.D. or become a lecturer. We had 4 faculty and almost 42 students in our department. So the student-faculty ratio is 10 students per one professor. But our professors are very good and understanding. They are very interactive in online/offline classes. They have empathy and patience to understand our topic very deeply. They also do regular practical classes. Our professors have done Ph.D. in their field. We had 4 semesters. Every semester we had 5-6 papers and practical exams and internal assessment tests and assignments. Anyone who studies regularly can pass these exams.

St Xavier's College is the best

Placement Experience:

They can enroll in the placement cell which helps with placements, Some departments get quite good placements from reputed companies. After getting the degree, I plan on sitting for the JAM MSc entrance exams. Also Really good for other departments like BCom and economics but you usually don't look for placement after graduation in the arts stream. You have to go for masters. So if you're a commerce or a science student and you're looking for a college with good placement after graduation, St Xavier's College is one of the best colleges in the country and in Kolkata the best.

The campus life of nbu

There is no examination as such you get admission on the basis of merit and you get the application form on the website of the University of North Bengal from August to September. The admission fee in total for this course is 1600 including the identity cards library card and other charges. Reservation is available to the sc sc obc and the PWD people.
