Remarks

The college helps in overall development of the student. The college provides quality education. all the faculty members are highly qualified and the students will face no problem inside the University campus. The university is still in its budding phase, but soon it will become one of those recognised universities in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The LLM course of the college offers specialisation in two courses, constitutional law and criminal law. I had opted 4 criminal law. It included all the laws and judiciary related course study. it is basically a further extension of what we have studied in the LLB program.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement cell of the university is very responsible and help the students with internships. after the completion of LLM course, various law firms and organisations visited the campus and almost all the students got placed in some of the other company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of LLM in the university is approximately 1.5 Lakh rupees a year. I found it feasible as all the Law schools have near about the same amount of. the fees for the fees includes all the tuition fees, annual fees and the caution money.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is tied up with the state government and the scholarship is provided to the students by the government. the college also has tied up with various funding organisations and banks. And any student who wishes to study on education loan can get it sanctioned.

Campus Life

For extra curricular activities we had court room sessions. It was done so as to help us have a a proper practical experience of how things happen in the court. Many top lawyers also visited for guest lectures in the college.

Hostel Facilities

The official hostel of the college is still under construction and it has not been allotted to the students yet. But the college helps the students in allocation of PG and rented rooms, near the university itself.

Admission

I had pursued the degree of LLB a recognised University and I decided to continue with LLM here in this university. The admission was based on the CLAT examination and an entrance examination conducted by the university, HPNLU.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college are alumni of most recognised Law schools in the country. I remember, they used to be very strict in the classroom and always taught us also to be strict because they said this is how lawyers are supposed to be. They not only taught us about the syllabus but also life ethics.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.
