Course Curriculum Overview

The length of this course is 3 years and helps in understanding about Mathematics and the concepts. The course provides in-depth knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, calculus and other theories to the students and helps students to use logical ways to formulate theories and apply the same to solve problems.

Placement Experience

The placements and internships are offered in great number. Various reputed companies like Microsoft, Directi, IBM Research lab, Goldman Sachs, Myntra Samsung Research Lab, TCS , ICICI bank, American Express, Deloitte, OYO Rooms and many others have recruited students in large numbers. The average salary package offered was INR 15-19 LPA. Employment opportunities are great. Companies also visit to offer internships. Students from our batvh are working as Mathematician, Data Analyst, Numerical Analyst, Cryptanalyst etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There were no fee charges. On the top we were given stipend. It was INR 5000 for UG courses, INR 7000 for PG courses. JRFs varied in between INR 17-25k for research students. These motivated the students to perform mch better in academics.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. cultural events or activities usually take place . Seminars, entrepreneurship sessions, workshops, debates are mostly conducted. Freshers and farewell is organised by every department.

Admission

You will selected for this institute on the basis of entrance exam and interview. You have to apply for this institute online by fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Read the instructions carefully. Upload the scanned documents and signature as well. You will also have to pay application fee which is Rs.1,250 for general categories and Rs.625 for SC/ST.

The faculty of our department had Clarity in basic concepts and willingness to share their knowledge. They had a good command over language and were humble. They used to treat learners with love and kindness.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

They provide you with various oppertunities like exposure visits, seminar , worshops, etc.

Dislikes

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Study pressure is not that much it will be sufficient to stu61 months before final exam
No strict college there is not compulsory to wear college uniform
Faculty are good they are supportive helpful

Dislikes

College campus is small infrastructure is not good
Placement and internship opportunities is very less
Number of students in each batch is more

Curricullum is quite ok crowd of students are more coding culture should be introduced need of improvement of infrastructure as well in my batch 2023 to 2027 there is total 3 exam in each semester including end sem and 2 test

Likes

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Teacher are very good and friendly for us

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Adamas university : Path of success

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Adamas Universiy : The guided path to Tomorrow

Placement Experience:

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.

Pros and cons of ISI

I also applied to other colleges in engineering through jee mains but couldn't get the cut-off marks cleared . The admission process of ISI is through ISI admission test .this test has great toughness and only tastes mathematics of 10+2 level. A brief discussion on ISI, Kolkata

Reason for preferring this college over others: I wished to study statistics and Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) is considered to be one of the best institutes in India to study mathematics and statistics. That is why I decided to take admission here. Admission process:(I) The written exam includes an objective paper(UGA) containing 30 questions and a subjective paper(UGB) containing 8 questions. If a student scores above the cut off marks in UGA (which varies from year to year but is typically between 65 to 80 out of 120) then his/her solutions for UGB will be checked. (II) Suppose the student got x in UGA and y in UGB. If ax+by(where a and b(a<b) are specified but varies year to year) is greater than a specified cutoff, then he/she will be selected for interview. (III) If the student scores z in the interview and his/her total score ax+by+cz(c will be specified but is usually greater than a+b) is above a certain cutoff then his/her name will be published in the merit list. However, the final selection and admission will take place according to the rank on the merit list.Good aspects: The professors have clear and in-depth knowledge of the subject and they teach based on their research experience. Huge emphasis is given in the understanding of the basic concepts. Amazing collection of books and journals in the library. Scope to attend seminars on theoretical, applied as well as interdisciplinary research. The canteen food is good as well.Bad aspects: Too much academic pressure, you cannot afford to study only weeks before exam and have to study throughout the year, from every batch on an average 5 students have to repeat an academic year and 2-3 students get chucked out of the institute.
