Snehal Poplait's Review On Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute - [VJTI], Mumbai

I took MHCET for Engineering and scores 138 out of 150, I opt for VJTI because the ranking of VJTI is No. 1.

Course curriculumn was good. First year was full of scince basics and a bit of Engineering basic drawing , materials etc. Second year was little advance subjects. And third year was consisting core subjects like thermal engineering , Materials managements, strength theoris & hydraulics.

We did not have any college internships for my course so not aware about the internships or stipend. But the Production engineering students or Diploma holders had the internship programs and most of the student easily get to do internships for fortune 500 Companies.

There is 100 percent placements in VJTI. Google , Microsoft comes for IT/ COMP. Bajaj , Mahindra, Tata Power , Schlumberger, comes for Mechanical / Production students. Job Opportunities and packages offered are Best according to current trends.

We have annual cultural Festival "Pratibimb" Purpose of which is social gatherings. Then to show your talent in technology we have annual techfest"Technovanza" & for Sports There is Enthusia.

There are various scholarships available for students for various category. Student can apply as per eligibility. No Loan facility or tie up with any particular bank is available.

Campus life is excellent. Labs are outstanding. Robotics , Hydraulics , Fluid mechanics, Automobile , Thermodynamics Labs are very good. Gender ratio of Female to Male is 20:80 There are various associations formed among various branches and every professor, management as well as students association do their best to have healthy environment in college campus.

We have alumni network & groups on social platforms like facebook , Linkedin. Also Every year we have our Alumni meet at college on second sunday of December. We usually meet our seniors , juniors & other alumnis so that we get a chance to dicuss on various programmes , current affairs going on.

VJTI is an autonomous college. And it sets and executes exams on its own. The Exam structure is good. the Schedule of exams is also well prepared so that students gets proper gap to prepare for exams.

The faculty was very good. Most of The Professor are IIT passed oout & PHD holder. They were technically sound & much more experienced by age. External or visiiting faculty was also best among the class.
