Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum followed is by the Burdwan University. Cbcs semester system is followed with regular examinations. Teachers taught quite good the courses and it was not that hard to understand and prepare ourselves with the syllabi.
Placement Experience
The college was not really known for its placement or job opportunities. My course did not have such provisions. But the college did organize seminars and lectures to enrich our learning experience. Practical work also happened so students learnt from that.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the BA courses, the fee structure was a bit less compared to the science and commerce courses but in general the fee structure is bare minimum and feasible for most students from different backgrounds as the college is a government aided instituition.
Campus Life
The college has open grounds so it does organize outdoor activities but indoor activities happen too. The labs are more or less equipped. A lot of cultural events are held and students enthusiastically perform in such programs.
Admission
I choose History as it was my favorite subject and I wanted to pursue it further for doing research work. Admission to this college is based on merit. Marks in higher secondary examinations are looked into and cut off merit lists are provided. Depending upon it, I got enrollment into the college.
Faculty
The faculty was well educated and had wide knowledge. They tried their best to teach their students. They had patience and helped us with our difficulties in understanding certain concepts or doubts about certain stuff.
