My graduation days

The curriculum was brief and descriptive. We used to pay more attention towards what was being taught in the lecture rather than any textbook. And in the examination also we used to write what our notes copy had. The language of textbook is also perspicuous.

The placement and job opportunities in my stream has a lot of scope for improvement. We get to have some opportunities but usually no body prefers that because they have chosen BA so that they could have their initials for competitive exam.

The fees of the college is affordable. It is pretty decent. You only have to pay Rs 3,200 yearly. There are additional charges levied as this is only the tution fees. You have pqy for computer lab, if you need. Hostel charges are additional.

There are good number of activities that we get exposure to. A lot of cultural activities take place, both boys and girls take part. No discrimination against any sex, person on basis of place of orientation, takes place. Campus is quite safe.

There are no hostel facilities inside the college premises. You have to go for some private hostel. The college administration is untroubled and has no responsibility for anything that happens in hostel.

The maximum number of people that have reached a point of success, have been from one BA gradution only. Some of them have become Mayor, some are professors. Tgere are people who have become Accountants.

I am a native of West Bengal. It has always been in my house that I'll have to stay in WB for further studies so I only searched about colleges of West Bengal. Keeping in mind the fees, infrastructure and facility provided by this college, I thought it is the best that somebody could get .

Faculty members were also from places nearby. The used to explain us in detail every small thing. They supported us throughout. Had we not had their support, we would have not done what we did. They were full of positive energy.
