Remarks

The college has a ragging free environment and all the students are like brothers to one another. They have a very friendly and homely relation. The college management has done a great job and has not let the students down.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is systematized to meet the needs of the industry which is ever evolving. The syllabus continues to change with the required need. It is more practical based and has less theoretical approach to it.

Placement Experience

It definitely provides 100% placement to all students. The students are approached by big companies that are willing to pay high salaries. The companies also approach for paid internships which can lead to a job offer.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the entire course may sum up to 8L rupees. The fee for the first year is around 3L rupees and the next year is around 5L rupees. Although the fee is not very affordable, it does make up for it later by offering high paying jobs.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is very well built. It looks very modern and up to date. The college also provides all equipment for the practical sessions. The college management has taken care of the college perfectly and make sure the students do not lack anything.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni of the college are working with the high tech companies that pay them a hefty annual income. All the alumni of the college are very satisfied with their jobs that the college has provided them with. The seniors are good too.

Admission

The criteria to gain admission in the college is that the candidate must have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics scoring at least 60% and English with at least 50% in 10th or 12th. The admission is based on merit.

Faculty

A few of the faculty members are retired marine officers, and hence they have a great understanding of the subjects. They are highly experienced and very well qualified. Their command over their grammar is great too.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.
