It is the best marine institute and the faculty is awesome. the curriculum, environment, placements are all excellent. Whatever the college provides screams excellency in everything. I can say I'm glad to be a part of this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is great. What I learned there helped me to reach where I am today. Course structure is such that it focuses on research a swell as the practicality of the real world. Being the top rated college by Education Excellence Award and Newsmakers Achievers Award it has a lot to offer and stays true to its reputation.
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent. The top companies to come hire the graduates. The selection is totally dependent on the interview process. Around 80% of the students get placed in very good positions every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for GME is 3,75,000INR for a duration of 1 year of the course.The fee structure can be a bit costly for some. Not everyone can afford it but the bright side is that fee can be paid in emi B.P. Marine Academy support.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does not provide any scholarship of its own but the student can avail the loan facility from some bank or any other place and the college provides the emi which helps to lessen the burden.
Campus Life
The college is good with providing extra curricular activities. Sports events are held annually. Many workshops are held that are an eye opener for everyone. Swimming competition is held in addition to many other games.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is very nice. the rooms are nice, airy and clean. They are well ventilated. The water is available 24*7. The food is tasty and good. the fee for hostel room is 30,000 to 80,000INR.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very strong. Almost everyone gets hired either at some reputable company or some even go abroad. The alumni meets are held every year and everyone gets to share their experiences and everyone gets to learn from one another.
Admission
Admission can be done done through both online as well the offline mode. To apply for prospectus and application form a Demand Draft of Rs. 1500 in favor of B.P.Marine Academy is to be submitted with the course details and name and address of the student mentioned at the back of the demand draft. The prospectus and application form gets sent by the speed post.the eligibility for applying for GME is min. 50% in final year of BE/B.Tech or Naval Architecture or integrated ME/M.Tech.after filling the application form, the fee can be paid online as well.
Faculty
The faculty is highly experienced and dynamic. The faculty consists of around 80-90 captains, engineers and others who have the experience of being on board the ship. they are highly disciplined and we got to learn a lot from them. you can learn just bu observing them.
