Remarks

It is an ordinary college which is working towards fulfilling the goals of the seafarers. It has been honoured with several awards like Best marine institute of the year by IBN 7, limca book of national record for training the highest number of seafarers and many more .

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is for three years and it offers various specialisations. I have opted nautical sciences and i am happy with the course curriculum. There is extensive research studies are conducted by the college to give practical knowledge of the subjects.

Placement Experience

The college has dedicated placement cell which tries to bridge the gap between the students and the recruiters. There are job opportunities available like in the marine industry as a researcher etc. The college helps in training the students for the job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee charged is very minimum and it can be easily afforded by the mass. The overall fees for the three year course is ?3,90,000 which is decent. It can be paid yearly as per the requirements of the college.

Campus Life

The college provides several kinds of facilities to the students. It has a huge library which has hundreds of books and it has internet connectivity inside the library. It also provides hygienic hostel facilities for the students.

Admission

We need to fill the application form online on the official website of the college. It requires to make a payment of application fees. The college conducts an entrance education for the students. The students are shortlisted on the basis of merit list.

The faculty members are very hardworking and has a lot of experience. A few of them are the retired navy officers which acts an incentive for us as they have so much to share from their life experiences.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

placements can happen in any semester starting from 2nd semester, it completely depends on the companies which come to the campus for cadets. 95% of the cadets get placed at the end of their course. teh packages vary from 300000 to 1200000 per year. note that this is the stipend you get while training, once this training is finished and you have al the certifications and are medically fit for sailing you get ti earn 10 times more only after 2 years.

Placement Experience:

After completimg 2sem students are eligible for campus placements. Mock GD and interviews are conducted in 2 sem whivh will be assessed and will affect the overall SGPA. There are multiple companies like JLL, CBRE, Turner and Townsend, AWFIS, C&W, SPCL,GR Infra, GMR, Rider Levett Bucknail, Godrej, ICICI Bank, JWIL, Knight Frank, Savills, Vishwaraj etc. Around 98% of the students were placed from the campus interview. Profiles were for project management. Highest package was 28 LPA by Rider Levett Bucknail.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the internship opportunities and full time placement opportunities starts to come, For my batch, Veritas, coditas , Worldline, Wipro, KPIT, CrelioHealth, Kylas these companies came with a good package which was greater tha 4 LPA. Highest package was from veritas 12 LPA, Kylas 7 LPA, and average was arount 3.5-4 LPA. Arount 60% students gets placed. I am placed with a good package through campus placement only

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students will be eligible for placements The placement criteria for placements is having 6.0 or above pointer in attempted semesters and they have to keep that grade up to the end of the course. The highest package was 30 lakh for Dubai bases company related to Real Estate and minimum Package was 3.75 lac for the freshers in Construction Project Management course. 40% of students get placed while 20% opted out and the rest of the students are still getting placement opportunities from the institute.

The surroundings of our college are very interesting, there are guest lectures, workshops. Also, Fresher parties and all of the other events make life at our college very enjoyable. INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY IN MY COLLEGE

Aspects of My College 1) THE THING THAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT MY COLLEGE IS DISCIPLINE.
