Remarks

Deshbandhu College is really good for science courses. The labs, faculties, library, and most importantly the societies are really good and one of the best in DU. Also the connectivity is really good with 2 metro stations on Magenta and Violet line and Nehru Place bus stop at walking distance. Another main reason of me taking admission in this college is that as compared to main north and south campus areas the flats and PGs are inexpensive here in Govindpuri which is 1Km away from college.

INFRASTRUCTURE So the college is going through a renovation process wherein new buildings and structures are coming up. So in Jan 2020 classes began in the New Science Block and this new building is at par with any infrastructure of top DU colleges. So this building is for maths and science department. WIFI We never used to recharge internet in our mobile because in PG there was WIFI and also in whole college premises. But if you want really high speed internet to download movies go to library. LIBRARY Deshbandhu Colleges library is one of the biggest and best in the whole of DU. Library Facilities Air-conditioned Reading Hall place to rest in free time. WebOpac Facility you can search online where your concerned book is kept Wi-Fi enabled library we all used to go in our free time to library to download movies If you are preparing for some competitive exam, then library is the best place for you. You will not believe but students used to come from their rooms and PG

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
