Remarks

One of the oldest college that has food technology under KTU. Good faculty and campus. It's quiet inside on a hill pleasant view.

Course Curriculum Overview

Food Technology was always my subject, in Kerala TKM trust is one of the most famous trust, and its colleges too. TKM Institute of technology is a famous college in Kerala for food technology and biomedical engineering.

Class Size: 51Course Fees: INR 89000 per year

Placement Experience

For other branches, the placement cell is quite good but for food technology, the placement is less. Although we have a few. Training is given for placement aptitudes.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had a rank below 18000 which was good to get into the college but since I had already given my name for pio category I didn't get a merit seat but merit seat is much cheaper. The exam is keam.

Campus Life

Iedc cell, IEEE cell and its members are very active. Placement cell and sports are also quite good.

Hostel Facilities

There are study tables and chairs for each person, homely food, the town nearby, curfew time is 8:30 which is quite good. There are shops nearby.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
