Many Indian and International companies provide internships for our college students, NIT's and IIT's also provide internships for our students. The also provide intra college workshops too. Our students can attend workshops within oru college itself.

Placement Experience

There are a great opportunity to get placements from our college. Placements starts from 6-7 semesters of the course. Indian and international companies hire inters from our college with high packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

For merit student it is 12K per annum. Everything, tution, caution, registration everything comes under this fee itself, except the exam fee, it is about 210 per subject. There are a lot of scholorships available. Govt. Scholorships and also private scholorships are available.

Campus Life

Great experience. Hestia is our annual techno cultural fest, bollywood singers and artists perform for our college, thrift stores, everything is so vibe during those days. Facilities are top level in our college.

Admission

Mainly the campus and the techno-cultural fest of this college. The placements are also top in our college. The best college that provides mechanical engineering facilities in kerala, and also one of the best in India.

Faculty

Each branch have sufficient faculties, they all are so good and friendly. The do be with us in our ups and downs, we can share anything with them. There 2 internals and an external per semester. Everything is okay okay.

Night Life

Gym facilities are provided inside our college itself, football ground, courts for volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton, squash...Hostel and food management are so good. Timings to our hostels are so adaptable.

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
