Likes

Very excellent environment for studying.
Cleaning is done properly around the college
Beautiful canteen is provided for eating food and stuff

Dislikes

The ground is not properly used for sports
The painting of the building is not good
There is no car parking for students .

Course Curriculum Overview

I am actually into medical stuff so I would rate it about 3.5 star because it's more reliable in this college and it's too much close to my house and I can just go to college in the morning and come back to the house

There is a different fee structure for different courses in the college. For example for biomedical students for management seat students. The fee is about ?94,000 and for NRI students. It is about one lakh rupees.

Campus Life

I would give it a solid 8 out of 10 because it was pretty good. Actually, I would like to go to college again and again, and it is very good. Actually that's all all the students and faculty members are

Admission

This was the most closest college to my house and it had my favourite course in it and other colleges where about thousand and thousands of kilometres away from my house and they didn't have my course, and I would like to stay here as well, because my friends from my class are going there in the same college as I am going the admission process are submitting your prestige certificate, certificate, certificates, TC, migration certificate, et cetera, and administrator will give us the entry to the college. That's all.

Faculty

Everyone is quite nice and teachers. Very well. Everyone is top qualified experts and Professor studying in the college teaching us very well and helping us throughout our semester exams and all different assignments for daily use.

Night Life

Actually it's pretty, and it is very bright and clear because of the lights that are surrounding the college and at night time, it's safe that we can walk inside without even torture or anything because of the lights that are around

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
