MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

The course curriculum is bit out dated as thier is more importantace to the theory than application. But in the recent scheme(2024) their is a bit more improvement than the privious scheme as the new scheme is more internship oriented

In the recent scheme of the university their is compulsory intership required for the students. It is included in he syllabus. But for us(till 2023 admission) their is no compulsory intership required but still we can go for intership if we wish to. We will get duty leave

Have many placement drive happening compared to other colleges in the vicinity. But the salary package is less. The college haven't released the placement package details They only show a number of students who got placed through the campus placement

2023 admission Tution fee-60000(management seat),50000(merit seat),100000(NRI seat) During the initial addmission we have to pay a caution deposit of 20000 University registration fees-4500 Total fees including all the fee like pta fund, web portal fund, lab fund etc-70000 Bus fee depends on the locations Max bus fee-15000 Min bus fee-5000 Hostel is also available 2024 admission Their is a increase in the fees for 2024 addmission as the college got many accreditation -120000(nearly) The fees may vary as you choose the department. The above details are particularly to computer science department

Their are many clubs in the campus. But only few are very active. The clubs brings many workshops for the students from the college as well as outside college. The are separate areas assigned for different clubs in the campus

As I am a day scholar I don't know much about the hostel. But from the knowledge I get from friends they say that the hostel facility is bit expensive. The menu offers both veg and non veg. But few months back this was a issue in the girls hostel regarding the food but as of now their is no problem

I had written keam examination but I didn't get the addmission through the merit instead I took a management seat. I couldn't have got computer science engineering in this college through merit as they demanded higher rank so I opt for management seat but could have got any other department other than cs

Their are good faculty as well as some bad faculty as well. I ment bad not because of their knowledge but because of their lack in teaching skill. A student can approach the teacher easily and most of them are friendly and approachable. In a semester of 6 months their happen 2 series exam and a university end semester exam The 2 series marks, Attendance, assignment etc are taken as the internal marks out of 50 and the end semester exam is out of 100. Both the marks are then added to 150 and grade is allocated based on the sgpa system

No their was no interview or group discussions during the admission. But had to meet the academic dean and the principal before getting the admission. For getting admission either we can get admission through merit(keam exam) or management seat or NRI seat

The campus is bit far from the town. It is located in a hill Their are gyms inside the campus but most of them are not accessible easily by the students Cafeteria, library and the college gates close by 6:00 pm in normal days. Their is no nightlife as the college is bit far from the town
