Course Curriculum Overview

Since the college is government aided, the entire course is I feel still needs to be updated. However, the faculty informed us the reference books for the subjects. There were not any labs in my course however, the college do have pretty large labs for Science courses.

Placement Experience

We did not have any placement cell. Since it is the government aided college, the more emphasis is laid on completing the degree, even I myself went to do MBA as I did not have much opportunity to explore post my graduation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is unbeatable. For my entire course, I paid only six thousand rupees. However, so is the cut throat competition. But once we land in the college, its just a piece of cake to ace the graduation degree.

Campus Life

I found the campus as beautiful as it can be and with so many societies, annual sports meet and fest, it is really fun to be in the college. There are not much workshops organized in the college but everything is fine as the fee is so low.

Admission

The filled the form in offline mode while visiting the college campus with my friend. The process was simple and after submitting the form fee and completely filled form, we waited for the merit list that is published by the college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty are all well talented and have an excellent academic record. Many of them are through with their Ph.D and some of them are writing research papers as well. They guide us not only theoretically but with their own experiences as well.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SXC is an old pedigree!

Placement Experience:

Companies of all domains like the Asian Paints, EY, Nestle and HDFC Bank among all of them come to SXC. Biggest placements so far has been of 20 lakhs or so when one of the student was placedat such a package in 2024.

Viewing from my perspective

Government College are cheaper than private so I choose government college and we get scholarship. No I was not rejected.ST people will get seat faster than OBC . The person scoring good percentage is taken in . General having good percentage still won't be able to get as the seat are taken by ST OBC . The exams are not hard but also not too easy....Read More
