I choosed this college because it is one of the best private engineering colleges in North Bengal. Admission process is based on your JEE mains and WBJEE scores. This college is under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology West Bengal. The admission process takes place with the university level.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed Electrical Engineering as a subject as it is one of the oldest department of the college and has a. Very good scope in government sector jobs. The faculty students ratio is 1:20 approximately. All the teachers are qualified as assistant professors having master's degree in the stream. All the lab assistants are having proper diploma degree with bachelor's degree and a good experience. Semester examination takes place twice a year and internals twice a semester.
Placement Experience
Placement are likely to be held in the final year of the degree ie. 8th semester. There are many companies like Wipro TCS cognizant Infosys microsoft intel and many more. The avg salary given is about 4 LPA and the highest package is 12 LPA. About 70 percent of the students get placed every year. I am myself placed in a big multinational company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is 43000 per semester and 50000 admission fee. U can also get scholarship based on your marks and merit. You can also get education loan from the linked SBI branch.
Campus Life
The annual fest and tech fest are organised in the month of February. Books and study material are available in the book bank of library of the institute. Majority of the classrooms are digital classroom with lockers. Sports are regularly held in the college campus and different types of clubs in the college
