Remarks

Very very good college which brought a manier aspect about me out.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

As per my future prospects were concerned, B.com H was the base for CA curriculum, so learning imparted in this course was more or less similar to one of my levels of CA. No industrial visits were organized for B.Com students. This course along with the college grooming helped me to gain confidence n present myself in much better way to the outside world

Placement Experience

4

I don't remember the names of companies who visited for recruitment as I had to pursue a CA therefore I was not a part of that recruitment drive. But some of my classmates did clear the placement and were offered a good package too. I am talking about my course only. There were only 35 students in this course overall. Out of which 7 cleared campus placement

College Events

4.5

Here were inter college fests annually, freshers party, farewell party, various clubs were there, so they keep on organising n participating in various inter college competitions whether it's a dance, fusion, extempore, Nukkad Natak, stage plays, classical, modern dance, singing, sports etc. There were n no. Of events round the year. Furthermore there were fests for each course also. I was part of my course fest only. Big personalities of Indianapolis has been a part of college alumnus n even those who weren't were the guest speakers. Top music bands were the part of fest too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I don't remember the fees but it was paid by cash or cheque on the college counter in the accounts department around 17 yrs back. When people were not net savvy, neither there were many e-money transfers. Yes there was compete transparency in the fee - breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't avail any education loan. Neither I was aware of any such scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Ours was only women college, so 100% girls ratio. Cultural societies were very active n damn good which always shows their presence in the cultural fests organised by other colleges. Extra curricular activities were equally good as were studies. ECA category students gets highlighted in their EC activities. And meritorious students who went through merits shows interest in studies

Hostel Facilities

3

No I was a day Scholar who used to commute daily from Gurgaon to Delhi on buses. Also hostel preferences was first given to long distance students who require it more than us. Like those from East India or South India- they need it more than us, as they were not aware of even Delhi.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college seniors in our course were very helpful whether it's regarding course studies or even career prospects. I had no personal experience with any of the alumni

Admission

I was abt to pursue CA n being a school topper in commerce stream, B Com H was the best option which was going to help me in CA too. Being in the list of top 10 colleges of India, this college can be the choice n wish for any meritorious student. I just fled up the form, it got shortlisted, then had an interview n then went through

Faculty

4.5

There were minimum 6-7 lecturers in our course at that time. They all possessed an experience of more than 15-20 yrs each n were all permanent teachers possessing all the required qualification for being a leader tired in Delhi University. All were PHD. They all were very well expert in their field, that I didn't require a need to take any coaching for any of the subject.

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
