Remarks

I got PMSS scholarship in the branch i always wanted, plus its a reputed government college. The college has a great faculty members and good infrastructure. The hostel facility is also great and the food served is healthy and hygenic.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curricular activited are limited in the college and sports are not so much popular here. The most played games in our college are kabaddi and volleyball. From academics point of viee college is great teachers put a lot of effort in their work and faculty members are very nice nad polite.

Placements are good though not many companies come yo our college but our college sends referrals to many companies for the interview. They have lot of contacts and there is no entrepreneur cell in our college

College Events

Our college mostly based on practical work than theory. They want us to learn through practicing not by byhearting the things. Fests are very great and students participate in them. Students organize most of the fests.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are underdeveloped. There is no indoor badminton court and no swimming pool. But its has a lot of open space and parks which can be used for variety of purposes. Wifi is available but there's a daily limit of 1GB. Library is pretty good but it only has books related to academics. Labs are pretty much solid and have everything that is needed.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I've opted for hostel. Hostel dormitories are great and clean. Food provided by mess is hygenic and healthy but there are only limited no. Of dishes served. The hostel staff is good and we have WiFi there but limit of 1GB per day

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult
