Remarks

Gargi College is one of the best institutes in Delhi. It is a private university. I have chosen this college because this college is a famous college and provides education to girls. So it is safe for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course syllabus is according to the University of Delhi. It changes accordingly to how it is prescribed by the authorities. The college provides the industrial exposure to everyone. Children are given an equal chance to go to industrial visits. All facilities are good but since it is the government so there is less cleanliness.

Placement Experience

4

The job placements are very good at our College. Alumni batch of the college provides seminars for students every year in order to make children understand that why marks are less important than Knowledge. The exposure they provide to children so that they earn knowledge.

College Events

4

Our college arranges cultural events on large scale. There is an event for 4 to 5 days every year where Bollywood star stars come. Technical events are arranged by our college for inter as well as intra college. Children participate with zeal and enthusiasm and it gives them pleasure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually, a good scholarship is provided to children when they take admission to our College. Children are given a discount according to the marks obtained in the previous exams. But the college provides good scholarship to the people who are financially weak and who are below the poverty line.

Campus Life

4

The campus infrastructure is so good. It contains a central library as well as the department library. There are playgrounds for basketball, volleyball as well as for cricket and badminton. The college has computer labs which are well equipped and maintained.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes. I stayed in a hostel for 2 years. Hostel facilities are good. Proper facilities are provided to students. Mess food is also good which is served with proper hygiene. Proper sanitation is maintained is the hostel and there is a hall for all to enjoy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was relevant; however, you need to carry all the current affairs to actually make the best of it, otherwise, it is just theory. Every subject taught you to think and connect because most are just theory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was verey much Comprehensive. I wanted to accomplish this course at any cost because of my excellent flair in this language adding to my Interest. It actually broadened by Mental Horizon and shaped my thinking perception. It also helped me in my Academic pursuits not only for me but also for my kids as well. It also helped me in widening my own Knowledge and buit my awareness regarding many issues we face in our daily lives. As such there are no serious concerns for improvrment. The difficulty level of Examinations is immensely higher than other courses and it braeks student's confidence too. The level has to brought down else it won't be a Piece of cake for average students anymore !

Placement Experience:

I'm a freshmen so I'm not really sure about placements and how it works. And as far as I can remember, the placements take place mostly for the students of commerce background. I don't think there's no such internship provided for non commerce students. I have very little idea about placements as I've mentioned before but some companies do provide placements like zomat, zudio, stanza living etc. The college placement cell is quite active and my friends try to always take part in it.

St. Stephen's College has a placement cell called the Campus Placement Cell which facilitates the placement and internship process. There are many companies like Bain and Co, Accenture, Salesforce, JP Morgan, DeShaw, McKinsey and Co, HUL, Deutsche Bank etc. The average base pay package is around Rs. 9.3 LPA. The highest one was around 24LPA. The CPC is student run and helps each student with academic and employability processes. Students are reached out to by the CPC from the first year as well, engaging them in various volunteering works. CPC brings internship opportunities for students from their second year, and by third year (Vth Semester) the students become eligible for placements. Students from Economics, Maths and Bsc Programme get the highest number of placements every year. Students from arts course also get, but majority of people turn to other careers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well defined and comprehensive. The St. Stephen's College is ranked by NIRF as one of the top colleges in India for B.Sc and B.A Hons. in various subjects. The course curriculum changes every few years so that the students are getting the latest knowledge. Exams are held time-to-time in every semester and the difficulty level of exams is not very hard, it's moderate. One thing I do not like is that even after paying such high fees for tuition, we also have to pay 2500-3000rs per exam as exam fees.
